FRIED CARROT CAKE
***RECIPE***
INGREDIENTS:
A 700 gm radish 50 gm red carrot 1 tsp salt 400 gm water B 300 gm rice flour 50 gm wheat flour or tapioca flour 1 1/2 tsp salt 600 gm water 50 gm chai poh/preserved radish Soak to remove salt
METHOD: Peel and shreds radish.and red carrots. Toss with salt and leave aside. Squeeze out water. Boil ingredients A. Mix ingredients B in a bowl. Pour A ingredients into B and mixed well. Pour onto a greased tray. Steam over high heat for 50 mins. Cool and fry with egg or sweet sauce as per your preference.
For white Heat wok with oil Sautee minced garlic till fragrant Throw in sliced carrot cake. Stir fry and add in fish sauce and two beaten eggs.let it rest till egg cooked . Flip over and heat a while. Dish up Sprinkle with cut spring onion - optional For black Heat wok with oil Sautee minced garlic till fragrant. Throw in carrot cake. Stir fry and add in fish sauce,dark sauce,sweet sauce and 1 beaten egg. Stir fry and dish up Sprinkle with cut spring onion - optional
