***RECIPE***
INGREDIENTS 2 kati glutinous rice 2 tsp. salt 4 tbsp. black sauce Half tsp. pepper Half tsp. vetsin 1 tsp. five spice 1 tsp. sugar 2 tbsp. chopped garlic 900 gm three layers pork - cut cubes 100 gm Mushroom 400 gm chestnut Salted eggs
150 gm dried shrimps METHOD: Wash rice ,drain and soak in water for 1 hour Drain dry and add all seasonings except chopped garlic into the rice In a wok add in 8 tbsp. oil and fry the garlic till fragrant.
Add in the rice and fry till a bit sticky. Leave to cool. Fry pork with oil,black sauce 3 tbsp,1 tsp. vetsin, 1 tsp pepper,1 tsp. 5 spice powder and 2 tsp. salt. Wash clean and soak dried shrimps. Fry with ketumbar powder and pepper Boil soak Mushroom with oil n water.drain dry. Place 2 bamboo leaves together and fold into a cone.add 1 tbsp rice, mushroom,chestnuts,dried shrimps,salted eggs,pork and another tbsp of rice.wrap and bind with strings and cook in hot water for 1 hour.
