Bak Kwa
Homemade bak kwa.....DIY. ...ho liao.....save $$$
***RECIPE***
INGREDIENTS: 600 gm minced pork 3 tbsp lard or corn oil 1 tbsp Chinese rice wine or rose wine 1 tbsp sesame oil Half tsp 5 spice powder 3 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp light soy sauce Pepper 2 tbsp fish sauce (han river brand ) 1 tbsp honey Pinch of orange or red colouring METHOD: Combine all ingredients and marinate minced pork overnight in fridge Spread mixture on baking sheet on a metal rack on tray. Place baking paper on mixture and press thinly. Preheat oven to 150C. Bake mixture in oven for 20 mins until dry. Dispose drippings on tray. Remove from oven. If the corner do not break when u fold them over, it means the meat is ready for grilling. Grill for 180C till golden color
