Behind the scenes: how we make food look good(Lor Mai Gai)

Create your own Lor Mai Gai with this simple recipe.

***RECIPE***

INGREDIENTS:

1 kg glutinous rice 2 Chinese sausages -sliced thinly Thin slices of roast pork 3 mushrooms -soak n cook with oil, oyster sauce, salt n water till soft. 2 chicken thighs - sliced thinly. Add shao hsing wine,soy sauce,sesame oil,oyster sauce, pepper , water , ginger juice n corn starch.

METHOD: Soak glutinous rice for 45 mins.

Drain n steam for 15 mins or till cooked.

Add in soy sauce, sesame oil,salt,pepper and mixed well . Place chicken,mushroom, sausage and sliced roast pork at the bottom of metal bowl.

Top up with a layer of steamed glutinous rice and steam for 10 mins.
